Last night’s dress this morning
OK…mental note to self…don’t judge a dress at 1am, especially a dress that has taken many hours to make (and unpick). I woke up this morning and thought that maybe the dress wasn’t so bad, then I tried it on Zoe, and I realised that it was actually pretty cute. And…drum roll please…Zoe loved it! What a shame it was a size 2/3 (she’s nearly 5!). Maybe – just maybe – I might be able to bring myself to make another one in her size. Surely it couldn’t be so hard the second time. Could it?

Okay, that’s reaaaalllly cute. Such a shame that Zoe is too much of a grown up girl for it now. Chance would have it that I actually have a child or two in the 2/3 age range who may be willing to take this gorgeous creation off your hands. Waste not want not…………..

hi, that is a seriously cute dress, i love the unusual fastening on it. i too have a 2/3 girl who would love it lol!!
I know a 2 year old girl who looks simply stunning in red and denim
thats cool! is it your pattern?
Seems a popular dress with the 2/3 year olds lol! Claire I drafted the pattern from an old dress of Zoe’s that I couldn’t bare to throw away once she’d outgrown it. It’s really cool the way it goes on and off because you don’t need to put it over a child’s head. Perfect when you’re chasing an uncooperative 2 year old
I love it!!! What a clever idea with the fastening at the side. It really is fab, shame it isn’t really the right size after all the dramas that happened during its creation!
